Well, as you probably already heard, the next TF2 update looks like it might be a double-header!
… At least, many sites (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) are reporting that both Sniper and Spy are getting upgrades, but I think the TF2 blog tells a different story.
I mean I could be wrong, but the series of update posts is telling me that the Spy has killed the Sniper.
Even the URL www.teamfortress.com/sniperupdate now redirects to www.teamfortress.com/spyupdate (which in geek-speak means the first URL is no longer relevant).
I’m starting to wonder whether the two new pieces of Sniper kit was just Spy’s way of throwing us off the scent.
Has Spy stolen Sniper’s update? Or perhaps the Sniper will respawn in time to share the update?
Or maybe I’m just reading too much into it?
You tell me… What do you think is going on here?
