Silly rabbit, CoD is for technical-FPS-fans

Talk about a bumper crop of incoming games!

Granted we are not usually the first in line to partake of hardcore technical shooters, but I have to say, CoD Modern Warfare 2 is looking pretty slick.

As we have come to expect of Infinity Ward — when they have their way with the franchise — this edition of CoD looks like it will up the ante in terms of realism and over-the-top action. You’ll likely need a tiny god PC to play it, but I’m thinking co-op multi will be pretty special.

This last video is a bit dodgy, but the character animations and environmental effects are incredible!

Does look very slick. I can already here the cries of 12-year olds over in-game chat lambasting me for being retarded.

Sorry will have to pass on this one. If I wanted a hardcore FPS I would sign up to the army. Both would end up with me having a bullet in my head, the only differnce being that I would put it there myself playing CoD.

Interesting. Even when not purchased via Steam, MW2 will have steam platform integration. Monopolies are rarely a good thing. Then again, Steam certainly beats the cr*p out of Punkbuster (anti-cheat) and Window Live for gamers (network/game-lobbies).

Must. Resist. Urge. To. Pre. Order. – Best to wait for it to go on sale.
