It’s survival, Borderlands style, with zany rules (see Underdome gameplay mechanics). I dunno about y’all, but each riot arena sounds five by five to me. Bring friends!

Midweek Madness, spiii style

With ETF2L coming up, and Worms Reloaded due to drop, what better way to skill up than play something completely different! And we all know the clan love RPS, look at how much time we’ve spent in Global Agenda? Nearly 400 hours!

That’s why when I saw steam offering Borderlands for 66% off today only, I hopped on a bought a 4 pack. You buy one, three extra copies drop as loot! Um yeah, I have three copies to sell/trade/give-away. I’ll think up a competition truly worthy of phat loot like this. In the meantime, if you’re in, it worked out to AUD 22 a copy. You can catch my attention with /jig in Global Agenda. (That sounds so wrong, but for the right reasons!) And slightly better than:

Roid Rage

Ali, Okahey, Nakor and I have been getting into a bit of the new RPS Borderlands, and I have to say, it’s very good.

It’s got all the questing and looting of an RPG, very little (if any) grinding, but most importantly — as far as I’m concerned — it plays exceedingly well as a shooter.

The importance of a strategic approach to taking objectives can’t be overstated, but if your preferred FPS style is ‘run and gun’, then you will be accommodated (Fumbles?).

Bordering on insanity

FYI imma grab me a copy of borderlands. There are four packs to be had, so yell out if you’re interested.

A little about the game:

Role Playing Shooter (RPS) – combines frantic first-person shooting action with accessible role-playing character progression
