December 21 came and went rather uneventfully. If nothing else, we missed a great opportunity for an end-of-the-world LAN…

…Or did we?

Some believe Friday-before-last was a premature premonition. I personally believe the worst is yet to come. Heck, there’s all manner of ways in which we could all synchronously kick the bucket (super-viral outbreak, alien invasion, cataclysmic meteor strike, just to name a few).

It’s almost 2013, we’re living on borrowed time!

Come join us early January, prepare for the pending calamity by attending a group training exercise in virtual post-apocalyptic wasteland simulators (like L4D).

Specific dates, times, locations to follow (probably via TeamSpeak).

A final belated welcome, this time for Rammy! One of the aforementioned fans of technical FPS, Rammy is teh h@rdc0rz!!1

Apart from the CoD franchise, Rammy is accomplished on the TF2 battlefield and has joined us for some epic rounds of L4D2 Scavenge mode.

Rammy is not old enough yet to join in with all clan activities, but I’m sure he’ll participate more in future and I’m proud to welcome him as one of us.

Maybe next time

Well, it’s all over. We didn’t place, but I think we did a top job — if I do say so myself. Can’t say I’m not disappointed, but they certainly picked 3 fine entries.

The best part is, I can now reveal the epic final submissions from our very own snappers…

There’s something hauntingly beautiful about being fingered by a Demo (also about Zorr’s entry).

Machiavellian in it’s construction, Spiii’s comic outline’s his plan to take over the world (by picking on poor Demos everywhere).

Demolishous Demo

I wanted the slogan for this poster to be a ‘call to action’, but I should have gone with frag_spawn’s suggested ‘motto’ instead, it was much funnier.

Unleash The Monster

I lost the plot a bit here, but had fun with it, and managed to slip in a not-so-veiled reference to the Demo’s bagpipe if ya know what I mean. Initially there were two references — quite by accident I assure you, that was a soldier’s foot people!
