As most of you are aware, we went a little silly last night. Attempted to take Badwater with a team full of Pyros!
This wasn’t as successful as I’d hoped, we had to switch to Team Scout to get it over the line, but Team Pyro was still all kinds of fun.
I propose if we are ever finding a server unenjoyable, we invoke the therapeutic powers of Team Pyro before raging.

Last night we had an impromptu survival bash. Ali named the event Survival of the fattest, which game me an idea for a Survival mode inspired wallpaper (thanks to Dr Zorr for the Boomer ideas):

We tried many different strategies and locations for the No Mercy, Gas Station map. The climax of the night was our longest Survival mode run to date, 13 minutes 50 seconds. Obligatory brag video:
That’s right, Fraps flipped out on me at the end. Oh well, you get the idea.
After that run, Fumbles sat out to let Shmitee join the foursome and we repeated the Gold medal performance (although we didn’t last quite as long). During this second run, we were hit with two Tanks simultaneously at the 6 minute mark. One appeared at each of the windows, that was full on!
Now that we’ve dipped our toe in the world of versus, there’s no going back.
Left4dead really is a very special game, full of very special zombies. I’m not sure what Valve have been feeding their undead hordes, but they tend to appear over-stimulated to say the least.
