You don’t have to have Facebook. I think I waited 2 weeks for my beta application to go through. Just sign up through the website and wait for the email. Facebook is required to add a friend and speed up the waiting time to access the beta.

I spoke too soon. Steam crashed and when I logged back in a download started. No details of what it was.

Tofu, I just logged in to see if the mystery 4gb downloaded (I haven’t ordered Portal yet). Nothing downloaded.
There just isn’t enough beavis and butthead references any more.

I love this, and totally agree with most of your commandments. Apart from ‘too colourful and/or too cute’ that normally sells me
I hate fishing in games. I don’t like fishing in real life! Once when I was about 7 my dad gave me a fishing rod and took me fishing. I caught a fish. He then made me gut it and cook it. Poor dad, thought he was teaching me a life skill, alas he scared me for life. I digress…
