Incoming: SummerSmash LAN

SummerSmash is 11 February 2012. It’s also my birthday, if one celebrates birthdays every 6 months instead of once a year. Which I don’t really. So the bit about my birthday was a lie, but the bit about SummerSmash was true. Anyone interested? TF2 3v3 Arena is on offer. I dunno about everyone else, but my TF2 is pretty rusty…

If you’re interested, there are 3 things to do:

  1. Practice the universal greeting
  2. Learn your blues name
  3. Play TF2

If you’re not coming to the lan, you only need to do the first 2!

    If anyone is encountering the “unexpected error” issue, simply re-download the D3 downloader from your account at Battle.net, set the downloader’s default folder to where you have kept your game files and hit download. It will go through your game files and then do a small update. After that the installation process should be fine :)

    Downloaded and installed Tribes. Than accidentally formatted my Games/Media drive that I had just installed it to. 10 hours later and all data is recovered and I had a chance to play the game. It’s not bad. This is a game I’d be very happy to play with a few of the boys. Bring it on!
